Iowa Caucuses Watch Party

Comments 02 January 2012

Friends,

Four years ago many of us gathered at The Royale on South Kingshighway to witness history together. Now, four years later, the Republicans are holding caucuses to find their nominee.

The race is a political junkie’s dream. Today’s Des Moines Register poll suggests that the winner in Iowa will either be a radical right candidate like former Pennsylvania Senator Rick Santorum or Texas Congressman Ron Paul.  Or Perhaps Iowa Republicans will pick the Republican establishment candidate of choice – Mitt Romney.

Please join Steve Smith, owner & proprietor of The Royale, and me for an Iowa Caucuses Watch Party on Tuesday, January 3 at 7:00 PM at the Royale.  We’ll have a few drinks, watch the results and gear up for the 2012 General Election.

See you tomorrow night!

Sincerely,

Brian Wahby

Democratic Caucuses – Great Success

Comments 29 February 2008

Democrats from all part of our city gathered last night to take the next step in seating the Missouri Delegation to the Democratic National committee in Denver.  Although the final numbers are not in, it appears that nearly 700 Democrats came out to participate in our Caucuses. To all that came out – thanks!
