We’re on the cusp of something huge: electing a president who can help bring about the change we’ve all been dreaming of for the last eight years.
But if we let John McCain and Sarah Palin‘s lies go unchallenged, this election could slip through our fingers. That’s why we we’re launching an urgent effort to join with the Obama campaign and talk to millions of voters about Barack’s message of hope and change.
MoveOn members are meeting up tomorrow at the Obama office in St. Louis to talk to our neighbors about voting for Barack Obama. Will you come?
What: Talk to voters about Obama
Where: 625 N Euclid Ave, Suite 400 (in St. Louis)
When: Saturday, September 13, 2008 1:00 PM
RSVP to let the campaign know you’re coming:

Watching the talking heads on TV endlessly repeating false charges about lipstick and patriotism, it’s easy to feel powerless about the election. But the race is still close, and there are over 3.5 million MoveOn members. If each one of us talks to ten or twenty voters, that could make all the difference.
That’s why we’ve launched MoveOn for Obama, our big plan to boost Obama’s grassroots campaign with thousands of new volunteers.
Don’t worry if you’ve never volunteered for a campaign before. It’s easy to do, and there’ll be staff and volunteer leaders there to walk you through everything you need to know and answer any questions you might have.
You might be knocking on doors, making phone calls, or registering new voters. So wear comfortable shoes and plan to dedicate a few hours to making a big difference.
Even with the polls so close, I have every confidence we can win—but only if each of us stands up to do our part. Click here to RSVP:

Thanks for all you do.
